Purchasing Errors

You may experience some errors when making in-app purchases. These can include:

  • The in-game shop being grayed-out or not showing at all
  • ‘Please wait. Transaction is pending.’ pop-up message appearing
Please wait. Transaction is pending popup Clash of Clans
  • A ‘Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed’ pop-up message appearing

Quick Fixes

There’s a couple of things that you can do to help with this!

On Android

  • Verify that you’re logged in with a valid Google account.

  • Enter your Google Play account and check your payment method and billing address.

  • Update your Google Play Store application.

  • Restart the game. The servers may have been too busy to process your order at the time.

On iOS

  • Ensure that In-App Purchases are enabled on your device. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > App Installations & Purchases > In-app Purchases.

  • Check that your device is set to the correct time and date settings.

  • Ensure that your Apple ID payment method is valid, and your credit card’s verification code has been entered correctly.

  • Ensure that you’ve accepted iTunes Terms and Conditions: tap your account, log out of iTunes and log back in (Settings > Apple ID > Media & Purchases > Sign Out, then log back in).

  • Contact your credit card provider and check whether your card has any restrictions on in-app purchases.

If these don’t help, we kindly recommend that you contact Google Play or Apple regarding your issue. The in-game purchasing system is completely facilitated by your mobile platform provider, and they will have much greater access to your account information.

Good To Know

You will not be able to purchase in-game offer packs if your account has a negative Gem/Diamond balance. This occurs when you request a refund on a purchase, and the refunded item’s value is deducted from your account. Offers in-game are often valued higher than the price you pay. That’s why the number of resources removed from your account may be higher than the original cost of your purchase.
