The availability of a Nest Aware subscription depends on which country you have selected in the Nest app for your home's location. When you first create a Nest Account, you'll be asked for your home's location. If it's in a country where Nest Aware subscriptions are available, you'll get a free Nest Aware trial and you can purchase subscriptions in the Nest Store.

The same applies if you have a second home in your Nest Account. You'll be asked to enter a location for your second home. However, if it's located in a country outside of the ones listed above, you won't be able to purchase a Nest Aware subscription or get a free trial for that home.

Note: If you change your country, your Nest Aware subscription will be cancelled and you will receive a prorated refund. This will happen even if Nest Aware is available in your new country because subscriptions are country specific. You can always purchase a new Nest Aware subscription in your home's new country.
